 The Rambagh Palace Hotel in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India was the residence of Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II. The Rambagh palace is spread over an area of 47 acres. This royal residence was converted into a heritage hotel in the year 1957. The Taj Group of hotels took over the management of this ancient heritage home turned hotel.
Accommodation

The royal suites comprise of the personal chambers of the former Maharaja, Maharani and the Prince. The royal suites are called the Maharani suite and the Maharaja suite. Maharaja Sawai Man Singh's official study, Pothikhana is one of the six rooms that have been categorized as luxury bed-sitting rooms. All the 20 luxury rooms are well furnished and have been decorated on the basis of certain themes. The three most popular luxury rooms are the sheesh mahal, safari and gulmohar. All the standard rooms are elegant and spacious. Although the décor and the furniture in the rooms have been maintained in the traditional royal style, the rooms have been renovated with all the contemporary amenities that suit the needs of the customers.

As far as dining is concerned there are three interesting eating joints at the Rambagh Palace heritage hotel. Suvarna Mahal is a grand hall that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The Neel Mahal restaurant offers light snacks. The décor of this restaurant is very traditional and very blue. This joint is open 24-hours a day.
The Barbeque Exotica is an open-air restaurant on the front lawns of Rambagh Palace that serves barbequed snacks. This restaurant is functional only during the months beginning from October to April. The Bar at the Rambagh Palace Hotel is called the Polo Bar. This bar serves the choicest of liquers and spirits
